Urban
America, a property
management firm, has been using our CIG software "Work
Order Trak" for more than four years to manage Northwood
Centre, a large commercial property in Tallahassee, Florida.
The same company also uses our software to manage other properties
in other major U.S. cities.
Northwood
Centre's main tenants are State of Florida agencies, as
well as other companies needing commercial and office space.
Urban America has
been able to use CIG’s Work
Order Trak software to help tenants report maintenance requests.
Tenants can easily submit work orders for service using their
web browsers. Once the tenant submits the work order, the system
reports the information and stores it for later reference. These
are only a few of the Northwood
Centre tenants who are using or have used the Work
Order Trak system:
According
to Kim Gabbard, the Regional Manager of the Southeast United
States for Urban America:
"Work Order Trak has greatly improved
our work order process. Its been a lifesaver for our property,
especially in the areas that are important to the State (of
Florida government).
Before we used the software, we were doing
thousands of work orders each month, and hundreds of those
would be completed but the paper would get lost, and there
was no way to track this. The actual work order is now tracked
by our software and can never go missing - we always know
exactly what has been turned in and what has not.
Now the State agencies can print out reports
each month and show their supervisors in the Capitol exactly
what was
requested and what was completed. Now we can prove a 100%
success and completion rating for work orders because it is
carefully tracked, plus we have the option of printing a paper
work order as well which helps because the maintenance person
can physically sign their signature as proof they actually
completed the work order.
Its been wonderful for us - we can document
exactly when work orders were fulfilled. There are no lost
work orders. We can pull reports on a certain room and see
the overall yearly maintenance for that room, or look at a
certain maintenance employee and see how busy they are."
